CMO ID numbers for Quest labs

Please share with appropriate staff:
Question was asked regarding ID numbers for CMO clients when Quest rejects the labs because we provided the Medicaid ID number instead of the CMO ID number.
Answer to locate the CMO ID number:
You can get the ID numbers from Capario. You look them up using the Medicaid ID number and on the results page it provides the Amerigroup ID or the Wellcare ID.
Search for Amerigroup using Amerigroup – Georgia (27514) – ID number begins with “7”
Search for Wellcare using Wellcare HMO – Georgia Medicaid (14163) – ID number varies
Look for the ID number to be different on the results page. Only use this to verify the ID number for the CMO. You cannot use this to verify eligibility and it states this on the results page. You must use the mmis portal to verify coverage.
You will use the Amerigroup or Wellcare for Care360 entry otherwise you will receive an error message.
