When trying to Add a new general health record, if the most recent general health record is an open "Prenatal" record (meaning the "Weight Type" is marked as Prenatal and "Final Prenatal" information has not been entered yet) , then all new general health records will locked to "prenatal" until that prenatal weight cycle record is closed.

For most cases, follow the steps below to close the record:

  1. Update the most recent prenatal general health record by adding "Final Prenatal" information (specifically the Weight, Height, Pregnancy Outcome Date and Pregnancy Outcome).
  2. Save the updated prenatal general health record.
  3. You may now Add a new general health record and specify in the CURRENT Weight & Height section whether the Weight Type is “Current” (the default) or “Prenatal.”

If there has been a long span of time between the most recent prenatal general health record and the current visit, you can set the “Pregnancy Outcome” as “Not Available.”
